Sage’s successful mid-range product Sage 200 accounts software offering goes from strength to strength. Having been in the accounting software market for twenty years or so, Sage 200 accounts is the leading product in its class and is written on the industry standard .NET platform.
Sage 200 accounts software was formerly known as Sage MMS and before that, Sage Line 100. For Sage enthusiasts out there the earlier product was Sage Sovereign.
There are a variety of add-on products available – both from Sage and various third party companies – which combined, make Sage 200 accounts software a very flexible proposition and solution for a variety of organisations and industries.
There are still many hundreds of tailored Sage Line 100 systems out there – predominately written in Retrieve 4GL. At the time of writing these clients can upgrade to Sage 200 accounts / Sage 200 software Suite free of charge. Additionally, some of the bespoke that may have been added to these systems - may now be covered as standard on the latest Sage 200 accounts product.
Sage Line 50 users can now upgrade to the Sage 200 product.
